April 2009

Well, congratulations and welcome to all elected (new and old) Management Committee Members. The Chamber’s Annual General Meeting attracted a good crowd of members and guests. March 2009

Negotiations are still ongoing with the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations regarding our proposal to strenghten the Chamber’s operations with funds to employ a Business Development Manager. We anticipate that this process will be nearing a solution in the near future. I am in the process of meeting with Queensland Government officials regarding support for this initiative as well. February 2009

Already into our third month this year and behind the scenes a number of negotiations and developments are starting to take shape. Our events will soon commence and the Carbon Diet Program funded by the Queensland Government’s Environmental Protection Agency will take off. (Click here for full report)
