As a new member of the chamber I wanted to pass on my thanks for the networking evening sponsored by Queensland Tourism Industry Council. The evening was very informative and the presenters showed great passion and conviction to promote employment opportunities for Indigenous people. There is a lot we can take away from the presentation and discussion from the members. We were made to feel very welcome and met some great people. We look forward to being a regular at these events.

Networking @ Night June 08 - Some feedback that I would like to offer the Chamber from attending the Networking event last Tuesday is this;
"by attending the networking event just reinforces that there really is POWER IN HAVING A CONVERSATION with mob, as I met individuals and groups tonight who are SUCESSFUL in their own right! They are goal driven, they know what their goals look like & they can touch them or well on-their-way in achieving them! To the Board and founding Members of the SEQICC - Well done on another sucessful Event!"

SEQICC NAIDOC Business Breakfast 08 - “Attending this year’s NAIDOC Business Breakfast was a great opportunity to network with other Aboriginal business in South East Queensland. Hearing the success story of the guest speaker Neil Willmett was both inspiration and educational in his approach to starting an Aboriginal business.
Events like these are also a fantastic avenue to see what’s happening around the murri community as the SEQICC help connect the dots with Aboriginal businesses.”
