The SEQICC team have been busy bringing the inaugural Meeanjin Markets to life as part of Festival 2018. The markets have engaged over 30 local Indigenous suppliers and businesses.
The markets would not have happened without the generous support of the Office of the Commonwealth Games GC2018 RAP team who provided a wealth of expertise and resources. In addition, we need to also thank the Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships (DATSIP), and Suncorp for the generous contributions. In-kind support was provided by SecureCorp and Iscariot Media (new logo AND website).
We hope that the 2018 will be the first of many Meeanjin Markets bringing opportunities to Indigenous businesses across South East Queensland and elsewhere.
