Che-Ki-Dee is committed to providing culturally appropriate services relating to child protection, domestic and family violence, health, education and training, project management and counselling.
Che-Ki-Dee has developed a program that addresses ‘Closing the Gap’ targets. These programs and services can be adapted to any area to address the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. This program has been trialled with child protection. domestic and family violence cases and the long term unemployed.
The ‘Holistic Service Delivery to Social and Emotional Wellness’ program is a package which consists of 4 phases:
- Cultural Support Plan
- Healing Talks (Counseling)
- Cultural Camps and Mentoring.
