Salt Water Murris Quandamooka (SWMQ) is an Aboriginal contemporary visual arts and craft centre and gallery situated on Quandamooka Country at Dunwich, Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island).
The centre is predominately comprised of artists who are direct descendants of the original Nunukul, Ngugi and Gorenpul People of the Sand and Seas
Through the combination of design and colour, each artwork created by the SWMQ artists tells a story special to the beautiful surrounds of the region.
Each artwork provides a window into the history, lives and the environment promoting the culture of their people and the earth, sea and sky of the Quandamooka region.
