The Aboriginal Employment Strategy Career Preparatory Program is the National leader for Indigenous School Based Traineeships. The AES has been managing trainees for Host Employers since 2002. Since this date we have achieved over 500 placements, with retention rates at 80% in 2009.
An accredited Career Preparatory Program in NSW, NT, QLD, VIC and WA and a member of the GTA Australia this service manages and administers traineeships and apprenticeships for Indigenous people. This service provides opportunities for all trainees/apprentices but we specialise in School Based Traineeships.
