The BlackCard is transformative cultural education plus specialist cultural training. The goal of the BlackCard Course is to increase and maintain the effectiveness of individual staff and organisational workforce by improving the quality of relations between employees, employers, specialists and clients/customers.
How would you like to have significant, worthwhile knowledge and valuable, constructive skills in communication when working with Aboriginal groups, staff, communities in government, institutions and corporations?
The BlackCard Course is the path to acquiring the BlackCard, the licence that demonstrates the expertise of the holder in working with Aboriginal people.
We deliver The BlackCard Course as well as BlackCard modules that are tailored to meet your needs.
The underlying themes of the BlackCard Course are based on Aboriginal Terms of Reference (ATR) that provide direction to the age-old Aboriginal civilizational culture, values and worldview.
The BlackCard Course is based on the tertiary level subjects, Aboriginal Perspectives and Aboriginal Approaches to Knowledge, developed by Lilla Watson and Mary Graham.
