Celebrate Indigenous Business Month and join the SEQICC and the Queensland Small Business Champion Ms Maree Adshead for an informal morning tea at Indigenous owned and operated cafe The Crampton Social at Keperra.
The Queensland Small Business Champion advocates for Queensland small businesses at the state and national level.
The Queensland Small Business Champion gives voice to the challenges and needs of the approximately 426,000 small businesses in Queensland and ensures they are brought to the forefront of government policy and decision-making. The role complements existing industry advocacy bodies and provides them with a better link to government.
The Queensland Small Business Champion’s work includes:
- contributing to the national small business agenda as member of the National Small Business Commissioners network
- acting as an interface between the Queensland and Australian Governments on matters affecting Queensland small businesses
- advocating on behalf of small businesses to the Queensland Government.
